Courtney Thorne-Smith (born November 8 in 1967) is an American actor from America. Her roles include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy's role in Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both were computer-based market researchers.
