Susan Sarandon Bio
It was 1968. Democratic Convention, and there was a casting request for a movie with many roles for young actors who disrupted it. Joe (1970), was chosen by Joe (1970) and Joe (1970) Two recent Catholic University students. Chris Sarandon, an actor who was trained to be an actor, was rejected. His wife Susan was offered the role as Susan Compton. Susan Compton is the daughter of Bill Compton (Dennis Patrick). In the movie Dad Bill kills Susan's drug dealer friend and then befriends Joe (Peter Boyle)who is an obnoxious worker on an assembly line and who has a collection of guns.Five years later, Sarandon made the film in which fans of classic films are familiar with her character Janet, who gets entangled with transvestite Dr. Frank n Furter in The The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). Sarandon was a fierce advocate for Annie in Bull Durham (1988) more than 15 year after her debut. She flew at her own expense from Rome and Italy from Italy to Los Angeles. "It was a fantastic script ... and it shattered numerous myths and challenged the American definition of success", she said. "I was there for a while with Kevin Costner, sex some men in the studio and then got back on the plane. Tim Robbins, her Bull Durham (1988) as a supporting actor was her first lover. He had two sons by 1992. This puts Sarandon in a difficult position. She was forced to leave her home to perform characters that were extremely difficult. This led to four Academy Award nominations in the 1990s and best actress for Dead Man Walking (1995). Her first Academy Award nomination was for Louis Malle's Atlantic City (1980).
