 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actor soon after her move to the United States. She came to prominence for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until the year 2020. Commercial appearances weren't the only thing she appeared in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. When she was just two she left together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial troubles the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she dropped out during her sophomore year. She then obtained the GED and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
